Legacy Vacuum Jacketed Bayonet for Cryogenic Piping Systems
The Cryocomp B3000 series is a legacy pipe-size cryogenic bayonet assembly for vacuum-jacketed transfer lines and vacuum-insulated piping systems. This series is maintained for customers with existing B3000 installations and is no longer recommended for new system designs. For new installations, please refer to the BM3000 series.
Available in ½”, ¾”, and 1″ pipe sizes with a 150 PSI MAWP, the B3000 utilizes a close-tolerance fit between male and female components to establish a vapor lock seal — eliminating the need for a nose seal. The design delivers frost-free transfers, minimal heat leak, and easy disassembly via a V-band clamp closure.
The B3000 series operates efficiently in both vertical (male on top) and horizontal orientations.
A complete assembly includes a male and female bayonet, V-band clamp, and O-ring. Complete assemblies can be ordered by adding “SB” to the part number (e.g., B3049-SB).
