About Us

Dennis Howland founded DLH Industries, Inc. in 1994 after leaving a long and productive career with Cryolab. His past experience of 20+ years in the cryogenic industry includes product/marketing manager for Cryolab in San Luis Obispo, California, design engineer for the Anderson Greenwood Relief Valve Company in Houston, Texas and Rocket engine test stand facility engineer for Rocketdyne in Canoga Park, California.

The addition of Harald Suschke as Operation Manager has added the experience of 20+ years in cryogenics with Cryolab and Circle Seal in operations, quality assurance and engineering.

The company was formed to fill a need in the ever-expanding market for reliable and readily available cryogenic components. Quality and availability are attributes we strive for to meet our client’s specifications and exceed their expectations.

Within two years, after manufacturing Cryocomp vacuum seal off valves and vacuum jacketed cryogenic valves, we expanded into larger valves and other components with a catalog and inventory to serve the client base.

The ability to fabricate special valves for unique applications soon caught on and we are presently manufacturing special valves from our stock designs for many of our national labs and designers with application specific design requirements. Extremely low heat leak designs for helium and hydrogen and precise flow metering valves for process have become frequent products.
